How do you adjust Rip Settings in Media player?

I had my external hard drive as my primary rip folder on my computer. Two days ago, the old external drive died completely. I got a new one, and when I went to add new music to the new one, media player tells me that I cannot change my rip folder because it cannot access the old drive to cancel it as the default folder. Any clue on how to get around this?
