You need to associate thesefile types with Quicktime and make the your default player.

When you right click a file you should see a sub menu named %26quot;Open with%26quot;, open it and select %26quot;Choose program%26quot;.
When you select QuickTime from the list, there is a check box with %26quot;always open this type of files with this program%26quot; select it.
Do this to any type of file you want once.
