Downloade klite, and didnt realize the media player classic is default, how do i restore it to the WMP11?

i downloaded the klite codec pack, and i did a 'hurrythe$^%up install' and didnt pay attention that it came with the media player classic, but i do not want that, is there a way to change the default to wmp11 without uninstalling everything?

i have already checked, and the classic media player isnt available to uninstall.

(i would be fine with the classic if i could adjust the colors.. but i cant)Downloade klite, and didnt realize the media player classic is default, how do i restore it to the WMP11?
What OS are you using, XP or Vista?

In XP you left click on the titlebar (the dark strip at the top with %26quot;Now Playing%26quot; %26quot;Rip%26quot; etc)

Select Tools--Options, on the dialog that opens there should be a tab with a check box that says something like %26quot;Make Media Player Default for all media Types%26quot;

In Vista do the following, It's time consuming but it works and is the suggested way and it may work in XP, never tried it in XP though

Open the folder that contains the file you want to change.

Right-click the file you want to change, and then click Open With.

Click the program that you want to use to open this file automatically.

Select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box, and then click OK.
