After downloading Quicktime, my default video viewer changed. How do I go back to microsoft media player?

I think if you right-click on the QT file (the mov file) and then select %26quot;Open with MS Media Player%26quot; it should prompt you to make Media Player your default for this type of file. For Windows XP, you might use the RESTORE feature. Look for this in the SYSTEM TOOLS section of ACCESSORIES in the Programs section (of your start menu). Go back to BEFORE you installed Quicktime. select %26quot;choose a program%26quot;

right click the program,go to open with,click choose program,click media player,and check the box that says always use the selected program to open this kind of file.and click ok.
