well if you want to make a default media player for a specific file type this is what you do:
lets say you want to make a default media player to play avi files.
1) you would right click on the file
2) select open with --%26gt; choose default program
3)a window will open up. select the media player you would like to play it with and at the bottom of the window make sure you check th option %26quot;always use the selected program to open this type of file%26quot;. Then press okHow to change default media player on my pc?
Right click on the music and choose property
click change then pick your new player
Ok and apply and Ok again

Right click on the file type you want to change, go to properties, under the general tab go to where it says %26quot;Opens with%26quot;, click the change button and choose what media player you want to use and all file types sharing that extension will change to that media player... otherwise it is specific to what type of media player you are wanting to switch to for how to set it as the default

Right click on the media file (mp3 etc)
Select 'Open With...'
Choose your preferred media player and tick 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'

This of course will probably differ depending on your operating system...
