Go to your songlist
right hand mouse click on a song
Go down to properties
Look at what it opens with, if it says adobe, click on change
Select windows media player and save.

Doing it from your song list does not change the default player. It changes the player only for the song list. Go to control panel , add / remove programs then to set program access %26amp; defaults . Click the custom button , then the drop down arrow on the right . There you can set all your default programs to what ever you want.
