How can I change the preferences on Windows media player for Explorer7?

I want to make real player my default player but I have to change the Windows media player preference first but I can't seem to find it on the Explorer 7 edition.How can I change the preferences on Windows media player for Explorer7?
Click on my computer, Then right click the cdrom drive (maybe E) select properties, click %26quot;auto play tab%26quot; and make your selections..When you are finished, click apply, then ok..Good Luck..How can I change the preferences on Windows media player for Explorer7?
